NICK DUKE
Lectures in consumer behaviour and marketing

Nick Duke has 9 years of marketing and sales experience in both the UK and Australia. He has worked with leading blue chip corporations such as GlaxoSmithkline and Reckitt Benckiser where roles have included Brand Management, Customer Marketing, Sales, Category Management and Market Development. Brands have been across categories including Food & Drink, Consumer Healthcare, FMCG and Pharmaceuticals.

Throughout his career Nick has been involved in the training and development of staff and since 2008 has been lecturing at Sydney Business colleges.

BRIDGET ARMSTRONG
Lectures in public relations, communications and management

Bridget is a facilitator, trainer and coach with hands-on experience as a senior manager in both public and private sectors. She has specialist experience in communicating change through her background in corporate communications and consulting with a number of international organisations.

Bridget has spent the majority of her career developing communications, change and leadership programs for technical specialists in IT, engineering and telecommunications.

She has successfully partnered with a variety of organisations, including engineering (Bilfinger Berger Services), consulting (Edelman Public Relations and Positive Outcomes), IT/telecommunications (Vodafone and Siemens), and not for profit (United Way, United Nations Development Fund for Women, St Vincent’s De Paul, Sydney Symphony and Historic Houses Trust). Bridget is certified in the Prosci Change Management Process, is a qualified Executive Coach and a graduate of the highly regarded Sydney Leadership Program offered by the Benevolent Society NSW.

Bridget has worked in Singapore, Germany and Australia. She has a Master in Arts from University of Technology Sydney, a Bachelor of Music from the University of Sydney and has studied at the Indian Institute of Management.

WILL GRAHAME
Lectures in media training, artist management, marketing and consumer behaviour

Will’s academic background includes a BA in English and Linguistics from the University of Newcastle. He worked for many years as a researcher/analyst at Media Monitors providing news information and analysis to government departments, corporations, PR firms etc. Will has also worked as an analyst for Leroy/Grahame Research and NineMSN.

He’s lectured part time at Hunter TAFE for the past 10 years in many areas, including music industry management, marketing, songwriting, consumer behaviour, media training, artist management and music law.

He’s a professional musician and knows the ins-and- outs of the entertainment industry after 20 years of hands on experience. Will has worked as a performer, touring artist in Australia and overseas, songwriter, session player, manager, marketing manager and everything in between!

LUKE ROBINSON
Lectures in event management, risk and spectator management, sponsorship, business dynamics, presentation skills and project management

Luke Robinson & Associates (Paddock Bashin’ Productions) was established in 2001. Luke has spent over15 years as a producer, director and manager of some of Australia’s most spectacular public and corporate events.

Luke is a past board member and National Chair of the Festival and Events Association and the founding vice chair of the national Event Educators Forum. Luke currently advises to the Global Council of the International Festival and Events Association.

JACKY MORGAN
Lectures in marketing, eMarketing and management

Jacky Morgan spent over 10 years with some of the world’s largest financial organisations both in the UK and Australia and as a result she brings a great deal of practical experience to the classroom.

Her areas of specialism are Direct, Interactive and Digital Marketing as well as Branding and Communications.

She has been described as a committed and enthusiastic advocate for her industry.

Jacky's positivity and drive are infectious and she demonstrates a real passion for training the next generation of marketers.

PETER REYNOLDS
Lectures in marketing specialist subjects

Peter started his marketing career of over 30 years in Advertising working on blue chip FMCG products and specialising in new product development with major Sydney advertising agencies.

A decade of “hands on” channel marketing experience at Berger Paints and later Hunter Douglas involved the application of creative thinking to the reality of production liaison, distribution networks, marketing process and customer relationships from traditional retail to franchise based direct sales networks.

A founding partner in Integrated Options, Peter was for many years a dedicated Strategy Planner, channel marketing specialist and part of the management team that built the Agency into an Australian top 4 promotional marketing agency. In 2003 Peter established Reynolds CBT, a marketing consultancy dedicated to delivering creative business thinking especially in the field of channel marketing.

JOHN COWPER
Lectures in marketing and sponsorship

John Cowper has been involved with advertising, marketing, fundraising and selling for all of his adult life. He has at various times worked for some of Australia's best known advertising agencies, and held senior marketing positions (at one stage managing a sales team of 44 staff).

Formerly Marketing Manager with the New South Ambulance Service (where his campaign for the Ambulance Contribution Scheme won a silver medallion) and Marketing Director of Barnardo’s Australia, John served for five years as the Federal President of the Advertising Institute of Australia where he was actively involved in the development of national standards in advertising education.

More recently John has been an educator, trainer and writer as well as helping smaller, not-for-profit organisations establish their marketing credentials.

PHIL DYE
Lectures in communications, writing and PR

Phil Dye has been communicating professionally for more than 30 years.

As an APM head lecturer in Public Relations and Business, Phil has trained thousands to communicate more effectively. He was voted ‘Trainer of the year’ by APM students in 2006.

As a corporate trainer, Phil has worked with some of the world’s largest companies such as Oracle, Vivendi and HSBC to help them communicate more effectively. Current local clients include Salmat, Ricoh, Crown Castle International and Computer Associates, with his most popular workshops being ‘Better Business Writing’ and ‘Media Interview Training’.

As a journalist and social commentator, Phil has written on topics as diverse as fatherhood, the role of the mass media in society and corporate citizenship. He is a regular contributor to the Melbourne Age and Sydney Morning Herald opinion pages and his first book, (‘The Father Lode’), was published in 1998 by Allen and Unwin. His next book, ‘101 ways to improve your business writing’ was published in 2004.

Phil’s mass media appearances have covered a variety of topics from business communication to sports language to gender issues and includes programs such as A Current Affair, Mornings with Kerrie Anne and ABC Life Matters. His most recent appearance was in the SBS Insight Program.

An accomplished musician, Phil has provided music for the ABC, released three CDs and performed to members of the Royal Family in London.

Phil has also worked with both the Federal Government as the National Publicity Manager for ACCORD (1994 – 1998) and the NSW Department of Health in the Public Health Unit.

RICHARD COLLER
Management and marketing innovation consultant

Richard Coller is a freelance management and marketing innovation consultant helping organisations and their people produce outstanding business and personal results.

Within the property industry asa marketing practitioner, Richard is considered a pioneer having worked with;

  • Westfield as NSW and Special Events Marketing Manager
  • Merlin International Properties as Marketing Director
  • Jones Lang LaSalle as National Retail and Marketing Consultancy Manager and in more recent times General Manager of Marketing for property giant Stockland
