Elisa’s thoughts on her time at APM are below:

1. What made you choose to study at APM?
   
   I first heard about APM at a careers market while in high school. The college seemed to offer great opportunities especially with the internship program, volunteer opportunities and outstanding reputation.
   
   
2. What were you doing previously to studying at APM?
   
   I was studying full time at high school.
   
   
3. What did you enjoy about the course you studied?
   
   I enjoyed all the subjects, my internship program, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, constant support from lecturers and APM staff and making great friends.
   
   
4. What was your goal when you enrolled at APM?
   
   To make friends, learn about the Event Management industry and secure a great job at the end of the course.
   
   
5. What is your current job title, company name and job description?
   
   I am the Account Executive at Kaleidoscope Marketing.
   
   
6. Describe what your current role involves?
   
   My position involves assisting the CEO and Strategy Director with all aspects of Promotion Marketing and Event Management services that our clients require.
   
   
7. How did you find your current job?
   
   I found my current job advertised on the job board on the APM website.
   
   
8. What were the most successful aspects of the APM course?
   
   The qualification and industry experience. This enabled me to have the confidence to apply for my current position. APM gave me the tools I needed to be comfortable in interviews and I had confidence in myself to secure a great job.
   
   
9. What advice do you have for other APM students hoping to break into your field?
   
   Believe in yourself, be involved in as much as you can and try to make the most out of one fantastic year as APM. It can lead to so many great opportunities.
   
   
10. Did you find it easy or hard to get a job after you graduated?
    
    I found it very easy and secured a job within three months of the course completion.
    
    
11. What other career goals or aspirations do you have?
    
    I would love to own my own Event Management company and specialise in weddings and fashion related events.
    
    
12. What other initiatives have you taken to help your career?
    
    I always ask questions and try to learn as much as I can from people I am working with. I would really like to be the best I can be in the industry.
