Kristen's thoughts on her time at APM are below:

1. What made you choose to study at APM?
   
   The fact it was only 1 year and the past success rate of APM students.
   
   
2. What were you doing previously to studying at APM?
   
   I finished school in 1998 and then was a manager at McDonalds.
   
   
3. What did you enjoy about the course you studied?
   
   The group work and the fact the lecturers were working in the industry.
   
   
4. What was your goal when you enrolled at APM?
   
   To graduate and come out with a job
   
   
5. What is your current job title, company name and job description?
   
   Sport Producer at Great Big Events (GBE). We are an event company that produces 'sport presentation' for major sporting events in Australia and overseas. 'Sport presentation' is the music, on field entertainment, vision screen content etc. at the stadium. I am currenlty in Doha (Qatar) working on the 15th Asian Games.
   
   
6. How did you find your current job?
   
   I sent out my resume after completing my APM qualification.
   
   
7. What advice do you have for other APM students hoping to break into your field?
   
   Don't give up and offer to work (even as a volunteer) to get your foot in the door.
   
   
8. Did you find it easy or hard to get a job after you graduated?
   
   Not too hard. I sent my resume out to companies and GBE rang me to come in for an interview.
   
   
9. What other career goals or aspirations do you have?
   
   To continue with GBE for a few more years and then perhaps get into broadcasting.
   
   
10. What other initiatives have you taken to help your career?
    
    Several courses through GBE such as business courses, excel etc.
