Laura Blasdale
PR Consultant, Wordstorm PR
Graduate, APM Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Public Relations

I often refer to my advanced diploma as three years of uni squished into a year.

The internship was key as practical experience is vital, especially in the public relations industry. The internship was truly amazing - it opened so many doors for me. It was also really exciting to utilise the theoretical skills I had learned in class. The PR specific subjects gave me an excellent insight into the real world of PR.

I am now a PR Consultant at WordStorm PR. I am involved with media liaison, pitching, writing press releases, events and client contact.

If you are willing to work hard, your APM qualification can take you anywhere.
