I loved everything about my APM experience! The friendly lecturers, variety of subjects covered and the industry experience were brilliant. Smaller classes meant that we became a close knit group of friends and the interesting assessments gave us the opportunity to work both in groups as well as individually. We were offered endless volunteer opportunities in a variety of fields such as Fashion Week, charity events, private functions etc. This allowed me to apply the knowledge and skills I was learning in class to the roles I was given at these events.

Habbo Hotel is an interactive, heavily moderated internet virtual world. It’s a safe, online community where people come to chat through the use of a cartoon, virtual character. You can decorate your own rooms with Habbo Hotel furniture and collect rare items which cannot be bought out of the hotel catalogue. My current job involves managing the online community. I look after the moderation of the hotel as well as production which requires me to compose competitions, miniature games, run events for celebrations and campaigns run in the hotel such Mother's Day, Karaoke nights, Valentine's Day, Love or Hate Discos, Juicy Fruit Online Beach Party activities and many other exciting and bizarre concepts.

I hope to continue to learn on the job and gain as much experience as possible. My APM qualification has been such a positive influence on my career to date and I’m so glad I chose to undertake it.

A lot of people find my job very interesting. It’s certainly never dull!
