Journalism is the craft of communicating up-to-the-minute news in various forms of the media, like newspapers, the internet, TV, radio, magazines and so on. Journalist use their top-class communication skills (that’s orally, aurally and written) to question, challenge, probe – and even provoke – to seek out the truth on numerous matters.
As a journalist, you’ll write and report on all kinds of stories, and be an editor, writer, even photographer, all at the same time. Roles in journalism are as varied as the news around us, from working at the forefront of journalism as a broadcaster, to magazine journalism, photo journalism and news production.
