Public relations (PR) is a growth area which helps companies and not-for-profits cut through the ambient noise with interesting ideas like events, experiential marketing, cause related marketing and clever internet based interactions to name a few. Full-time students can graduate with APM’s vocational Diploma in just 20 weeks of study plus breaks!

Designed as an introduction to the marketing industry you will gain a basic knowledge of marketing activities, consumer behavior, advertising and industry trends and developments. This course is the precursor to the vocational Advanced Diploma of Marketing and provides entry level employment in the marketing industry and the foundation for advanced studies should you wish to progress further.

We have designed specific PR workshops such as PR Fundamentals, Media Training, PR Communications Theory and Research (at no additional cost) allowing you the opportunity to gain industry specific knowledge from industry experts should you choose to. These optional workshops give students the opportunity to develop additional skills and training in this area of interest. More info
