Industry can access APM's network of graduates and students - a very valuable commodity in the marketplace. Over 40% of our full time students are hired by their internship (work experience) company before they have graduated - such is the calibre of APM's students.

Need to hire a Marketing, PR or Events professional?

APM has graduates who are keen, skilled and wishing to launch or progress their careers in Marketing, PR & Event Management. You have access to this free service at any stage.

Our Advanced Diploma students have all participated in a six-month Internship Placement as a key component of their training. This practical experience has enabled them to gain industry specific knowledge, adding to their marketability as a graduate.

Perhaps you are in a need of a more mature, business savvy graduate who is looking to re-launch their career in a new industry. These graduates can bring substantial life and business skills to your organisation with the added dimension of a highly recognised, recently obtained APM qualification.

As part of our services to the industry, we have an in-house Recruitment Coordinator, who is able to offer an in-depth employment service free of charge to organisations such as yours.

Services include:

• The opportunity to source and view graduate’s resumes
• Discussing effective methods of filling your vacancy
• Advertising your position on our student intranet website to reach your target audience and/ or
• The option of APM short listing candidates for your vacancy

Perhaps you require additional (free!) resources or want the opportunity to 'try' an APM student? Contact APM immediately and register to take on a student as part of our coveted Internship Program. Student volunteers for specific events can also be arranged for specific projects or events.

Providing full time students with a work placement is an integral part of the APM experience. Taking on an intern is a free service and is a great way to gain assistance with:

• promotions & publicity
• co-ordinating functions and events
• writing and distributing media releases
• researching special projects
• producing sales material
• compiling target lists
• working on database projects

If you could use extra resources for these or any other tasks, the APM Internship Program is for you. Students are placed in a relevant industry organisation for 2 consecutive days per week from July to December.

Taking on an intern is of no cost to you and offers you the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic student keen to be involved in your industry.

The Internship Program gives you:

• Qualified help two consecutive days per week
• The chance to give a student some 'real world' experience
• A fully insured no-risk employee
