APM subjects are built from nationally endorsed industry competencies. APM has selected the most relevant and packaged them into subjects that make sense to employers and allow a natural progression from foundation subjects into higher-level subjects. Students take away from each subject skills and knowledge that they will use in the workplace.

Each APM subject incorporates assessment activities that are designed to allow students to practice new skills and apply them to workplace scenarios. Assessment activities may include writing reports, group assignments, presentations and exams.
