When you study your business course online, it won’t mean that you will miss out on social and networking opportunities. You will be studying with like-minded classmates and dedicated lecturers throughout the course, as opposed to by distance or by correspondence where it is harder to establish relationships.
As you progress through your course, you will receive responsive, one-on-one support from your lecturers and any help you might need to develop your study skills. Online study is never dull with our excellent range of study materials presented as video, interactive media and PDFs. Group activities including forums, message boards, blogs, and wikis give you the chance to contribute to class discussions. You can monitor your own progress with self-review quizzes and receive immediate feedback. Lecturers mark assessments and grade assignments online and electronically. For assignments you will have access to APM’s electronic library collection that houses more than 70 million online articles.
Students studying an online Bachelor of Business degree have access to APM’s Industry Placement Program where you will have the chance to do a work placement in your chosen profession, get solid insights into modern work-force performance and expectations and make real-life connections in the workforce. Online diploma students can also take part in workplace opportunities such as volunteering at major festivals and events and doing work experience with APM’s industry partners.
Attending class online is as simple as logging into our web-based system called the Learning Portal. Here you get access to all teaching resources, lecturer information and academic support. Every online subject has a dedicated lecturer, who guides you and provides feedback on assessments. Lecturers facilitate discussions between classmates and mentors provide individual assistance when you need it.
